Are you looking for some fun Valentine’s Day Breakfast ideas? We have an easy one for you! All you need is canned cinnamon rolls, food coloring for the icing, and pretty sprinkles to create these Heart-Shaped Cinnamon Rolls.  Imagine waking your family up not only with the smell but the visual display of your love in the form of warm gooey cinnamon rolls, what a treat for them!

Heart-Shaped Cinnamon Rolls Recipe

Ingredients: 

  • 1 package of 8 count cinnamon rolls
  • Pink gel paste icing coloring
  • Wilton Valentine Nonpareils Mix
Supplies Needed:
  • Baking sheet
  • Parchment paper
  • Small sandwich baggy

Directions: 

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Open the cinnamon rolls and discard the packaging.
  3. Gently unroll each cinnamon roll one at a time and start rolling both sides of the cinnamon roll up to form a heart shape and place on the baking sheet.cinnamon rolls on pan
  4. Bake 13-15 minutes.
  5. Remove the cinnamon rolls from the oven and let cool for a few minutes.
  6. While the cinnamon rolls are cooling, open the container of icing and squeeze into a small bowl.
  7. Add 1 drop of pink food coloring and stir.
  8. Scoop the pink icing into the sandwich baggy.
  9. Use the kitchen scissors to snip one corner and gently squeeze the icing from the bag and onto the cinnamon rolls going in a back and forth motion.
  10. Repeat with all the cinnamon rolls.
  11. Sprinkle the nonpareils over the cinnamon rolls.
