Sour Cream and Onion Crackers Recipe
Ingredients:
- ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 ½ cups sour cream
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- 3 tablespoons dried chives
- 1 teaspoon salt
Directions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°.
- Mix all ingredients in a large bowl until you’ve reached a smooth creamy consistency.
- Pour the dough onto a baking sheet.
- Use a spatula to spread the dough evenly. It should be a very thin layer, just enough so you can’t see through to the bottom of the baking sheet.
- Bake for 20 minutes or until the dough is a light golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and score squares into the dough. A plastic pizza cutter works great for this. Just be careful not to use anything that will damage your baking sheet!
- Flip the cracker-sized pieces over with a spatula and return them to the oven for an additional 5 to 10 minutes to allow the other side to brown.
- Remove from the oven and allow to cool before serving. The crackers will become crispier once they have cooled.
- Serve the crackers or store them in an airtight container.

How easy is it to turn them over? I haven’t made crackers before so I have no idea. Would putting foil or parchment paper on the baking sheet first?
