Skillet Peanut Butter Chocolate Chunk Cookie Recipe

There is something about peanut butter and chocolate that makes such a happy marriage of flavors.  If your having a hard day and need a special treat you can eat right out of the pan, try this delicious recipe for Skillet Peanut Butter Chocolate Chunk.

Our family calls these giant cookies Pizookies, because they are large pizza cookies! If you don’t have a skillet, just shape your cookie dough into a large round circle on a baking sheet or pizza pan and cook according to the directions.

We often serve our cookies with a scoop of vanilla ice-cream on top.

I love using my cast iron skillet, and this looks like a wonderful way! No need to worry about someone scraping the finish off a non-stick pan either. 🙂 Plus, PB and chocolate’s a winning combo! 🙂

Welcome. I'm Alea!

On Premeditated Leftovers I share simple recipes made with whole foods, practical shopping tips, time saving techniques, and meal planning strategies. I also share tips for minimizing food waste, so more of the food that is purchased ends up on the table.

While volunteering as a budget counselor, I realized that food is the element of most people’s budgets where they have the greatest control. I set out to develop low-cost recipes from scratch to prove it’s possible to create delicious meals on a limited budget. Eating well while spending less is about more than just creating recipes using inexpensive ingredients; it’s about creatively combining ingredients so you don’t feel deprived and are inspired to stick to your budget.
