Whenever I am whipping up a batch of popsicles for the kids I have to make a batch for myself as well. Inevitably they dig into mine even with the “adult” flavor combinations I prefer, but that’s okay. I like the fact that we both get to enjoy a tasty treat that feels indulgent but is pretty healthy overall. These Spiced Ginger Pear Popsicles are creamy and loaded up with yummy flavors that grown ups and kids will both love. Oh yeah, they happen to be dairy free, gluten free, and processed sugar free too, so go ahead and enjoy!
Spiced Ginger Pear Popsicles
Ingredients:
- 1 cup coconut milk
- 2 pears
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 1/2 tsp. ginger paste
- 2 T. honey
Directions:
- Peel and rough chop pears.
- Combine all ingredients in a blender or food processor and mix until well combined. You can also smash up pears well with a potato masher and whisk everything together.
- My favorite milk to get the texture of a creamy popsicle is canned coconut milk, but carton coconut milk will do. If you do not care for coconut milk you can use almond or cashew milk instead.
- Pour pureed mixture into 6 popsicle molds and freeze until solid or overnight for best results.
If you wish to lighten up your pear popsicles a little bit more, simply omit honey or just use less. You can also swap in your favorite sweetener- sugar, agave, or xylitol.

I love them no sugar added. I made fresh ginger paste grating ginger on a ginger grater and I used one can of pears with syrup from canned pears and one can of coconut milk then blended in food processor and put the mixture in to pop cycle tray. I love this healthy recipe and will keep it for a great desert!!
