Cantaloupe and Sweet Apple Slush
Ingredients:
- 1 medium ripe cantaloupe
- 1 -2 sweet apples
- 1 tablespoon of granulated sugar or 2 tablespoons of simple syrup
- 2 cups of crushed ice
- a fresh sprig of thyme
Directions:
- Note: You are going to make two different types of slushes: A cantaloupe slush and an apple slush.
- Using a standard slush machine or a blender add 1 cup of cubed cantaloupe, 5 -6 ice cubes, and a tablespoon of raw sugar, honey, or agave nectar.
- Blend until smooth and spoon or pour into the prepared cantaloupe cup.
- Next, rinse out the blender and repeat the process. This time use the cubes of apple, ice cubes, and your choice of raw sugar, honey or agave nectar.
- Blend until the apple mixture is smooth and spoon onto of the cantaloupe slush.
- Garnish with a sprig of thyme.
- Serve.
