Watermelon and Rosemary Ice Cubes - These simple watermelon and rosemary ice cubes are a great way to make your own flavored water easily.

Drinking plenty of water throughout the days isn’t something I’m always on top of. Either I grab for something else or just plain forget. Staying hydrated is especially important during the summer months, so sometimes I just need to get a little creative.

Flavored water is an easy way to add a fresh twist to the stuff from the tap. You can do it with fruit, herbs, veggies, or any combination of those foods. Watermelon & rosemary ice cubes are a simple solution to flavoring your water naturally. No chopping or prepping prior to filling up your glass. Just grab a couple cubes from the freezer and you’re all set!

Watermelon and Rosemary Ice Cubes

Add these watermelon & rosemary ice cubes to a pitcher of ice water when entertaining guests, or toss them in your water bottle before heading out for the day. The flavors of watermelon and rosemary compliment each other well and will slowly infuse your water as they melt.

This sounds wonderful. What a great way to flavor water. I’m excited to because my rosemary is ready to be picked and watermelon is in the refrigerator! Have a great night.

Welcome. I'm Alea!

On Premeditated Leftovers I share simple recipes made with whole foods, practical shopping tips, time saving techniques, and meal planning strategies. I also share tips for minimizing food waste, so more of the food that is purchased ends up on the table.

While volunteering as a budget counselor, I realized that food is the element of most people’s budgets where they have the greatest control. I set out to develop low-cost recipes from scratch to prove it’s possible to create delicious meals on a limited budget. Eating well while spending less is about more than just creating recipes using inexpensive ingredients; it’s about creatively combining ingredients so you don’t feel deprived and are inspired to stick to your budget.
