New Year’s Eve Milk Toast Glasses for Kids

There is no reason to leave the kids out of celebrating a festive New Year’s Eve with these New Year’s Eve Milk Toast Glasses for Kids.

New Year’s Eve Milk Toast Glasses for Kids

You can make the kids feel special and like they are part of the celebration when you present them with these New Year’s Eve Milk Toast Glasses to help ring in the new year. Decorate the rim of a small pretty glass so that it sparkles and fill it with whatever type of milk you have on hand or you can make Vanilla Steamers. Kids will love having their own special beverage to celebrate with!

New Year’s Eve Milk Toast Glasses for Kids

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/4 cup white chocolate chips
  • 2 tablespoons whole milk
  • 2 tablespoons gold candy sprinkles
  • 2 tablespoons silver candy sprinkles
  • Your choice of milk, almond milk, or soy milk, etc.

You will also need:

  • Medium saucepan
  • Small pastry brush
  • Wire whisk
New Year’s Eve Milk Toast Glasses for Kids ingredients

Directions:

  1. Place the saucepan over medium heat, and pour in the white chocolate chips and whole milk.
  2. Whisk the white chocolate chips and whole milk together until you have a smooth sauce. New Year’s Eve Milk Toast Glasses for Kids melted sauce
  3. Remove the saucepan from the stovetop.
  4. Working quickly dip the small pastry brush into the sauce and brush the rim of a single glass.New Year’s Eve Milk Toast Glasses for Kids dipping the rim
  5. Hold the glass at an angle and dust the glass with the silver and gold candy sprinkles.
  6. Repeat the process with each glass.
  7. You may have to reheat the white chocolate sauce if it becomes too cold to brush onto the glasses.
  8. Chill the glasses in the fridge to set.
  9. Pour your choice of milk into each glass and serve.

I set out to develop low-cost recipes from scratch to prove it’s possible to create delicious meals on a limited budget. Eating well while spending less is about more than just creating recipes using inexpensive ingredients; it’s about creatively combining ingredients so you don’t feel deprived and are inspired to stick to your budget.
