If you love salted caramel, then this Salted Caramel Apple Martini is a perfect choice.  It is delicious and totally fun.  A great recipe that is ideal for making during the holiday season when apple cider is readily available! This Salted Caramel Apple Martini is a delicious cocktail for the fall and winter! It is easy to make and looks amazing when served!

While the kids enjoy apple cider, you can easily whip up this delicious Salted Caramel Apple Martini for the adults.  Apple cider is one of those fall treats that I always keep on hand.  You can locate it usually either in the refrigerated produce section of your grocery store or in near the orange juice.  You may also check the farmers market for great local apple cider.

I had an opportunity to taste test apple cider courtesy of Gowan Orchards at the International Food Bloggers Conference.  (You can see me having a little too much fun with one of  Gowan Orchard’s hard ciders here.) I was inspired by the delicious flavors, so when my friend Melissa told me about a Salted Caramel Apple Martini her mother made, I knew we needed to share on the blog!

I love a fast and easy cocktail like this caramel apple martini.  The Salted Caramel Vodka is the perfect accompaniment to apple cider for this yummy martini.  You can serve this up as a great after dinner treat to your holiday guests, or even as a special treat at bedtime for a romantic evening in front of the fire.

Welcome. I'm Alea!

On Premeditated Leftovers I share simple recipes made with whole foods, practical shopping tips, time saving techniques, and meal planning strategies. I also share tips for minimizing food waste, so more of the food that is purchased ends up on the table.

While volunteering as a budget counselor, I realized that food is the element of most people’s budgets where they have the greatest control. I set out to develop low-cost recipes from scratch to prove it’s possible to create delicious meals on a limited budget. Eating well while spending less is about more than just creating recipes using inexpensive ingredients; it’s about creatively combining ingredients so you don’t feel deprived and are inspired to stick to your budget.
