Spinach Artichoke Dip Recipe- This delicious spinach and artichoke dip is easy to prepare and makes the perfect side or appetizer for your next big event!Everyone loves a warm Spinach Artichoke Dip Recipe, and this one is so easy and delicious you’ll want to make it on a regular basis.  With great classic flavors and plenty of cheese, it is an ideal way to get kids to eat vegetables without complaint!

This is so simple to throw together that you can even get the kids to help.  You simply need to heat up the frozen spinach, drain, and combine all ingredients. Then just toss into a baking dish and cook.  It takes only a few minutes to make and of course, it is one of those dips that everyone has come to expect at every party.

Spinach Artichoke Dip Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 10 ounces frozen spinach
  • 14.5 ounce can artichokes, diced
  • 3/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup shredded Mozzarella cheese
  • 3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt & Pepper to taste

Spinach Artichoke Dip Recipe ingredientsDirections:

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2. Cook the frozen spinach according to package directions.  You may want to drain if it has excess liquid after cooking.

3. Combine all ingredients until well mixed, then pour into a pre-sprayed medium (8″x8″) baking dish.

4. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until cheese is bubbling and cooked through.

Spinach Artichoke Dip Recipe final

If you have a little extra shredded cheese to go on top, it makes a nice bubbly crust that looks great when presented.  For an extra kick of flavor, you could even dice some green onions, carrots, or minced garlic and include them in this Spinach Artichoke Dip Recipe! Our family loves it with the extra vegetables, but this classic version is perfect by itself.

I like serving this with classic tortilla chips, but you can also serve with vegetables, pita chips, or even crackers.  Gluten-free options are always nice to have on hand for guests who may not be able to have traditional chips or crackers.  Since it is such a hearty dip, a little goes a long way.  However, don’t be surprised to find this spinach artichoke dip disappearing right before your eyes!

Welcome. I'm Alea!

On Premeditated Leftovers I share simple recipes made with whole foods, practical shopping tips, time saving techniques, and meal planning strategies. I also share tips for minimizing food waste, so more of the food that is purchased ends up on the table.

While volunteering as a budget counselor, I realized that food is the element of most people’s budgets where they have the greatest control. I set out to develop low-cost recipes from scratch to prove it’s possible to create delicious meals on a limited budget. Eating well while spending less is about more than just creating recipes using inexpensive ingredients; it’s about creatively combining ingredients so you don’t feel deprived and are inspired to stick to your budget.
