As you work to make ends meet, these 7 insanely easy ways to cut your grocery bill are a must. Every family should look to these methods to make their money go just a bit farther with ease. From planning ahead to grabbing great deals these ideas are simple, easy to include in your routine and highly effective at helping you to shrink your grocery budget easily.

Cook from scratch. It may seem like packaged meals are cheap, but in the long run you can make much more for far less when you cook from scratch. Canned beans are just one huge area you are wasting money. Did you realize the Crockpot was actually created as an easy method to safely cook beans without watching the stove all day long? Use your Crockpot shrink your grocery budget by cooking dry beans instead of buying canned. Pasta dishes, rice meals, breads and things like pancake mix and more are all easy to assemble and cost effective.

Plan for leftovers. Don’t let leftovers go to waste. Plan your weekly menu around what leftovers work best together for alternate lunches or evening meals.
