These DIY Valentine’s Day decor ideas will fill your home with festive color.

15 DIY Valentine's Day Decor Ideas - these homemade Valentines's Day decorations are easy to make and use budget-friendly supplies.

With my birthday being February 10, I am used to having many heart, red, pink and white doilies at birthday parties simply because those were the easiest party decorations to find. It never bothered me too much as I always loved those colors. Paper Doilies, especially, can be very versatile and look delicate and beautiful in many crafts.

I only wish I would have had some of the decorations in the following links at my party. I believe my mom made a banner similar to Katie’s Lace Hearty Bunting right here on Premeditated Leftovers once.  It was for my sweet sixteen party so it was perfect. There were hearts on the ceiling and floor. It was all I could have wanted and more as a teenager: a sweetheart dance.

Whether you are hosting a Valentine’s get together or decorating a classroom for a Valentine’s Day party, the following 15 DIY Valentine’s Day décor ideas will go nicely!

Welcome. I'm Alea!

On Premeditated Leftovers I share simple recipes made with whole foods, practical shopping tips, time saving techniques, and meal planning strategies. I also share tips for minimizing food waste, so more of the food that is purchased ends up on the table.

While volunteering as a budget counselor, I realized that food is the element of most people’s budgets where they have the greatest control. I set out to develop low-cost recipes from scratch to prove it’s possible to create delicious meals on a limited budget. Eating well while spending less is about more than just creating recipes using inexpensive ingredients; it’s about creatively combining ingredients so you don’t feel deprived and are inspired to stick to your budget.
