I love a good craft project with a child of any age. Toddlers seem so inquisitive at the idea of getting to touch different textures. School-age children delight in the idea of being allowed to make a mess and older children want their project to look just like yours. This list contains great Valentine’s Day Crafts for Kids in different age groups as well as crafts for all age groups. Many are low-cost and perfect for classroom projects.

Valentine’s Day is a perfect time for crafts. In many parts of the country, it is still too cold to head outside for long and since Valentine’s Day has largely been about fun paper gifts to give your loved ones, it has a craft theme to it already.  There are so many crafts you can make that will decorate your home, give as a gift, and warm hearts. They say the best gifts are those that are made with love, thought and care- and of course a little imagination and glitter!

So whether you are making gifts for your child to give to others or just spending some quality time showing them how much you care, here are some crafts that you can do with the little cupids in your life.

Welcome. I'm Alea!

On Premeditated Leftovers I share simple recipes made with whole foods, practical shopping tips, time saving techniques, and meal planning strategies. I also share tips for minimizing food waste, so more of the food that is purchased ends up on the table.

While volunteering as a budget counselor, I realized that food is the element of most people’s budgets where they have the greatest control. I set out to develop low-cost recipes from scratch to prove it’s possible to create delicious meals on a limited budget. Eating well while spending less is about more than just creating recipes using inexpensive ingredients; it’s about creatively combining ingredients so you don’t feel deprived and are inspired to stick to your budget.
