Combine fruit and yogurt to make these Strawberry Yogurt Popsicles. They are a cold and refreshing summer treat! Strawberry Yogurt Popsicles- Combine strawberries and any pourable yogurt to make these refreshing popsicles. This recipe is just in time for summer!

The story goes something like this. Once upon a time, there was a land without Strawberry Yogurt Popsicles. What a dreary world indeed. But then one day Mrs. O’Leary’s cow kicked over the strawberries and they landed in a bowl of liquid yogurt. Long story short, “Houston, we have a winner!”

The real story is slightly less imaginative but in the end there is a happy ending. I got the idea from the yogurt smoothie products our boys often ask for and eat for school lunch. Our youngest boy stuck one in the freezer, and the rest is ancient history.  This recipe is relatively easy to make. All you will need is a drinkable yogurt, two types of simple syrup (one plain and the other strawberry), and some fresh strawberries. Of course, you will need a popsicle mold set. Check out the full details below to find out just how easy and delicious these Strawberry Yogurt Popsicles are to make.

Strawberry Yogurt Popsicles- ingredientsIngredients:

  • 1/3 cup fresh sliced strawberries
  • 8 ounces plain drinkable yogurt
  • 8 ounces of plain simple syrup
  • 8 ounces of strawberry simple syrup
  • 1 Popsicle Mold

Welcome. I'm Alea!

On Premeditated Leftovers I share simple recipes made with whole foods, practical shopping tips, time saving techniques, and meal planning strategies. I also share tips for minimizing food waste, so more of the food that is purchased ends up on the table.

While volunteering as a budget counselor, I realized that food is the element of most people’s budgets where they have the greatest control. I set out to develop low-cost recipes from scratch to prove it’s possible to create delicious meals on a limited budget. Eating well while spending less is about more than just creating recipes using inexpensive ingredients; it’s about creatively combining ingredients so you don’t feel deprived and are inspired to stick to your budget.
